Kate Jones is a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) in Maryland. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor degree in Women’s Studies. Kate went on to complete a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Kate has an extensive and diverse professional background in various settings, including private practice, behavioral health clinics, child welfare, schools, and a women's resource center. She has valuable experience working with a wide range of individuals, spanning from children (ages 5+), adolescents, to adults of all ages. Kate's passion for mental health and wellness has been a driving force since her early years. Achieving her dream of becoming a therapist has been a life-long pursuit. As she pursued her master's degree, Kate gained invaluable experience working in a special needs school and a women's shelter. After graduating, Kate dedicated herself to making a difference in the lives of families and children through her work at a treatment foster care agency. Kate continued to make an impact in child welfare for several years before shifting her focus to providing individual therapy within a behavioral health clinic.
