Therapeutic Approach

Jessi is dedicated to empowering individuals to overcome mental struggles. Her main goal is to assist clients in building self-assurance and attaining overall well-being. In recognition of the unique needs of each individual seeking mental health therapy, her approach is centered on establishing a strong rapport and fostering teamwork between herself and the client. She is dedicated to creating personalized solutions that cater to each client’s specific needs. Jessi utilizes evidence-based treatments to help clients conquer internal and external obstacles while encouraging them to take pride in their growth and achievements. She emphasizes an empathetic connection, which fosters a growth-oriented experience that supports clients as they process their emotions and develop awareness. With an established foundation of trust and a deepening clinical relationship, Jessi encourages clients to break free from unproductive thought patterns and behaviors, replacing them with positive thinking patterns and behaviors that lead to fulfillment and habit-building. Trust is crucial for successful transformation, and her guidance can make it happen.

Alongside her extensive experience, she has a specialization in working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, ADHD, and behavioral concerns to enhance their social skills, emotional regulation, and psychological adaptability. She has assisted and helped clients to improve their adult-living and executive functioning abilities. This includes skills such as time management, task initiation, attention and effort management, and task completion. Parenting can be a challenging role, but also a fulfilling one. As a certified PCIT therapist, Jessi offers real-time guidance on positive parenting techniques to caretakers, empowering them to promote their child's self-confidence, focus, bond with their child, and encourage behaviors that help them cooperate with family members and peers. PCIT aids in decreasing challenging behaviors such as acting out, temper tantrums, aggressive actions, and harmful tendencies. Through Jessi's supportive therapy approach, parent-child relationships are strengthened while children learn how to become calmer, confident, and more compliant. She also works directly with kids and teens to enhance their emotional regulation abilities in various settings, including school, home, and peer groups.

Facing challenges can be overwhelming, but reaching out for help and support can be the pivotal turning point towards healing and growth. Jessi's services are focused on helping individuals and families to explore new ways of managing and overcoming life's concerns.
