Therapeutic Approach

With a background in neuroscience and social work, I am able to provide a unique approach to care. I use a collaborative, client-centered approach to adapt interventions based on the clients’ goals and needs. Some interventions used in therapy include motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). These interventions allow me to support clients in successfully gaining new perspectives, changing their behaviors, and better understanding themselves and their needs

Working with teens, college students, and young adults is a passion of mine, as mental health concerns are exceptionally prevalent during this stage of life. Helping those struggling to discover who they are and what they want in life is a vital piece of mental health work. The process can be intimidating given the strain from societal pressures, leaving many unable to make decisions based on their true desires. As such, I strive to provide support and guidance to assist these individuals in creating a life for themselves that meets their needs, reflects their values, and brings them joy and satisfaction. My focus is working together so that everyone can experience an enjoyable life full of personal fulfillment.
